Oh My God
They say it’s always an honor just to be nominated.
Chicago’s melodic pop-rockers Oh My God picked up a “Best Music Video” nomination at the Midwest Independent Film Festival for its song “Bring Yourself.”
The black-and-white animated video, directed by Metalocalypse artist Dan Bigelow, depicts the trials and tribulations of a man separated from his family due to a number of reasons. Paired with the song, it’s a pretty bleak picture.
The awards will be presented on Tuesday, December 7th at Rockit Bar & Grill, 22 West Hubbard Street. Tickets are $50 and the proceeds will go toward the Midwest Independent Film Festival’s 2011 operating budget.
If awards galas aren’t your thing, Oh My God will perform at the Hideout on Tuesday, December 2, with Roman Numerals and the Loneliest Monk.
Watch the “Bring Yourself” video after the jump.
