Chicago Tribune’s “Cheap Eater”, aka food writer Kevin Pang, took to his Twitter account today to release the first details on a new live compilation bootleg from The Metro.
According to Pang’s tweets, a press release states that the 10-track compilation will be titled, The Official Bootleg Series Vol 1, and will be released on July 22 and could also be available at Pitchfork Music Festival on July 16 – 18 in Union Park for a nice price of $20. Additionally, Pang tweets that all the proceeds from the album will benefit Rock For Kids.
There’s no information up on the Metro’s website yet, but it should be coming soon. For now, check out tracklist that Pang released over twitter (the dates form which these performances come has not been revealed yet, but I’m sure you can make some educated guesses) after the jump.
