After much controversy and anticipation, Lupe Fiasco‘s long awaited Lazers album will be released on March 8, 2011.

This comes after Fiasco accused the label of stalling the record’s release, which even lead to fan protests outside Atlantic’s New York headquarters dubbed Fiasco Friday a few weeks back.

Now that the album will see the light of day, we have a brand new single from Lazers titled “The Show Goes On”. The track, as you can plainly hear and as our friends at WindyCityRock pointed out, samples Modest Mouse’s “Float On” from their 2004 album, Good News for People Who Love Bad News, and even bites the “Float On” chorus hook. You can purchase a download of “The Show Goes On” at Lupefiasco.com or stream it below:

Pitchfork has finally revealed the set times for their Pitchfork Music Festival set times for this July 17 – 19 in Chicago’s Union Park.

The best part about Pitchfork Fest’s planning is that, due to only three stages, they plan the set times very accordingly so that there’s almost no run-over on the main Aluminum and Connector stages. Want to catch Modest Mouse AND Broken Social Scene on Friday night? No problem. Simply turn to your right.

Finally, three-day passes for Pitchfork Music Festival 2010 have sold out as well as tickets for Sunday. No worries, you still have time to grab tickets to days one and two, or even catch Pavement back in Chicago on September 13 in Millennium Park (Tickets for that go on sale tomorrow morning!).

Get the full Pitchfork Fest 2010 schedule, via Pitchfork.com, after the jump.
