The Chicago History Museum needs YOU. The museum is attempting to piece together the history of Chicago’s most revered rock club Lounge Ax, nearly ten years after its closing. If you have pictures, concert tickets or any other Lounge Ax memorabilia, consider donating them to the Chicago History Museum.

The former Lincoln Park venue hosted such up-and-coming (at the time) acts as Liz Phair, Pavement, Wilco and the White Stripes as well as comedian David Sedaris and the Blue Man Group during its 12-year lifespan. Lounge Ax was also prominently featured in the 2000 movie High Fidelity shortly before it closed its doors on January 15, 2000.
