Don’t forget to tune into Radio DePaul on Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. for episode #2 of Loud Loop Radio. This week Loud Loop Press editors Richard Giraldi and Andy Kahn once again grace the internet airwaves for smart musical discussion.
This week features album reviews for Yo La Tengo, Russian Circles and My Were They. Additionally, “Best of Summer 2009,” discussion is on tap, which rates the best albums and summer Chicago concerts from this past summer. Listeners are encouraged to call in and share their own favorite picks. Finally, the show will highlight the top weekend musical diversions as well as preview what’s on tap for LoudLoopPress.com next week.
Finally, if you missed Loud Loop Radio Episode #1, here’s the entire show, edited together magnificently by our managing editor Josh Reed, for your streaming/downloading pleasure:
Editor’s Note: In the Loud Loop Radio Episode #1, we refer to the Built To Spill track as “There Is No Enemy.” CORRECTION: The track is called “Things Fall Apart” and the album is titled There Is No Enemy.
