Chicago indie poppers The 1900s have a new full-length titled Return of the Century set for release on Tuesday, November 2, on Parasol Records.

UPDATE: We’ve received a little more information on their new record. According to a press release from Pitchperfect PR, The 1900s stepped away from big orchestration and retro antics on their new effort, in favor of more true pop elements such as catchy guitars and hooky vocal arrangements. Additionally, they were aided in the recording of Return of the Century by drummers Graeme Gibson (Disappears) and Josh Johannpeter (Mahjongg, Lazer Crystal) and producer/arranger Benjamin Balcom. Finally, check out the complete tracklisting after the jump.

The six-piece, featuring Edward Anderson, Caroline Donovan, Andra Kulans, Jeanine O’Toole and Charlie Ransford, caught the media’s attention early in their career with sleek-yet-stimulating, folk-inspired pop gems. Return of the Century will be the first full-length follow up to their 2007 release Cold & Kind.
