Fresh off of being named honorary citizens of Madison, Wisc. and Duluth, Minn. comes news that Lagunitas, the craft brewery out of Petaluma, Cali. has created Wilco Tango Foxtrot an imperial brown ale set for limited release.

HiddenTrack spotlighted the Sky Blue Sky Sandwich Company, Ltd. located in Toronto which features signature sandwiches named after the band’s songs and albums.

For the beer, according to its label, WTF is a  “robust, malty, jobless recovery ale” and follows 2009′s Correction Ale.  It’s a hefty 7.3% alcohol and will come exclusively in 22 ounce bombers.

The one-off brew has already been bottled so expect it on liquor store shelves soon.  The band doesn’t seem to have any direct involvement here, but Lagunitas does happen to be the same brewery that did a run of Frank Zappa inspired brews.

A full list of the Wilco sandwiches including the almond butter and banana “She’s a Jar” and the marinated salmon “Mermaid Avenue” is located on the store’s site.   So if you find yourself visiting our neighbors to the north be sure to stop in and grab a tasty Wilco sandwich.
