One of the break out artists at this year’s Pitchfork Music Festival was Swedish pop sensation Robyn. Before Pitchfork Fest attendees took notice, Chicago art-rock duo My Gold Mask covered her tune “Dancing On My Own” at the Hideout late last month. Well, now we’ve got a sweet John LeSanche-edited video of their stripped down cover of the dancehall-ready track. Additionally, guitarist Jack Armondo stated via e-mail that the band is currently recording new material and a single should be out by September. Also, singer and percussionist Gretta Rochelle sang on another cover song, which will be a collaboration with La Scala that will see the light of day very soon. Anyway, check out the video below:
