The track “Coldest Winter,” released in 2008 on 808′s & Heartbreak, reportedly was written about the death of Kanye West‘s mother Donda West. For the video below, directed by Nabil Elderkin, the song was remixed and features elements of the Tears for Fears song “Memories Fade.”
