umbowl_static2After weeks of speculation, Umprhey’s McGee has finally let out some details regarding the inaugural UMBowl 2010, a unique interactive performance based on crowd sourced direction.

Dubbed “a full contact musical experience” the 4+ hour event is scheduled for April 24, at Lincoln Hall and will be broken up into four quarters of music with pre-game tailgating, a halftime show and limited edition memorabilia.

No strangers to on-the-spot fan interaction, the UMBowl looks to be building on the bands popular Stew Art – S2 Series by expanding to a complete show based entirely on fan input.

So far the only detail released is that the first quarter of music at the UMBowl will be an acoustic performance of songs predetermined via ballots given to ticket holders in the days prior to the show.

The rest of the details will be released shortly but the band says “Attendees will have unprecedented opportunities to showcase their musical coaching skills and truly get in the game.”   Stay tuned for more information including where and when to get tickets.
