On Lollapalooza.com this morning, fans of the Chicago-based festival awoke to a new lineup page, which mysteriously included the letter “O” on a number of acts.

UPDATE: The letter “I” has now been added to the lineup page at Lollapalooza.com.

Their Facebook page confirms that the promoters posted a “Give me an O” status update and made the lineup page look more like “Wheel of Fortune.” And with that, it looks like Lollapalooza is taking after a number of music festivals that are using a more creative way to announce their lineup. Last year, New Orleans’ Voodoo Festival had a word scramble via twitter to announce their lineup, and this year’s Bonnaroo lineup was announced on the fest’s Myspace page at various times through out the day.

Well, if you’ve seen the new lineup page, there are a number of bands that are blatantly obvious, so lets decode a few, shall we?

Top line from left to right: Soundgarden * Green Day * Lady GaGa * Arcade Fire * The Strokes * Phoenix
Second line from left to right: ??? * MGMT * ???? * ???? * The Black Keys
Third line from left to right: ??? * Spoon * Devo * ???? * ???? * ????

That’s all I can make out. Want to try an educated guess? Then post in the comments below.

Also, in case you forgot, Lollapalooza 2010 tickets are on sale now at Lollapalooza.com, and the full lineup will be announced on April 6.
