Yikes! Talk about a scary moment for The Streets On Fire!
According to the Facebook page for Chicago’s twisted, dance rockers, their guitarist, Yuri Alexander, was hit by a Toyota Prius when crossing Ashland Avenue yesterday. The incident sent Alexander to the hospital, but the band wrote that he was released and is doing okay.
Unfortunately, their in-store performance at Saki scheduled for Saturday, September 11, has been canceled and will be rescheduled for an upcoming date. Their Friday, September 17, gig at the Empty Bottle looks to still be on.
All of us at Loud Loop Press wish Alexander a speedy recovery!
