Tonight marks marks the yearly return of Second City's Letters to Santa benefit show. For those new to Letters to Santa, it's a 24-hour benefit that features musical and improv performances from top-tier Chicago and national talent including Jeff Tweedty, Kim Deal, Tim Robinson and Fred Armisen to name a few. The event supports Chicago's Onward Neighborhood House. But, yes, you read that right. Letters to Santa does indeed last 24 hours. It begins tonight, Tuesday, December 18, at 6 p.m. and concludes tomorrow, December 19, Wednesday, at 6 p.m. Well if you're a working stiff and can't escape the doldrums of work for 24 hours, don't fret! However, if can attend, tickets to the benefit will be available at the Second City Box Office for $20 beginning at 5:00 p.m. tonight.
