By now, you are more than aware of the brutal attack on Stacy Jurich and Natasha McShane that took pace last week in Bucktown, which left both girls hospitalized. Well, Chicago's The Lawrence Arms have been moved enough to help out. According to their blog they've organized a benefit show at the Subterranean to be held Wednesday, May 19th. UPDATE: The show is SOLD OUT. Also on the bill are San Francisco's Dead To Me and fellow Chicagoans The Blind Staggers. The show is also being sponsored by Reckless Records, and all proceeds will go directly to the girls to use as they see fit. Chicago may be the city of brutal baseball bat attacks, but it also the city of regular folks banding together to help out when it can. Get to The Subterranean, and show everyone we're much more the latter than the former. Tickets are $12 for the show and are on sale now at Ticketweb.com.
