Lollapalooza rolled through Chicago last weekend. While we were all sweating our brains out and taking in some incredible performances, Kanye West took a break from tweeting to release a new video and track.

First up, late last week West debuted a video-painting teaser for his single “Power”, which hit the web back in late May. The video, in usual Kanye West style, is pretty surreal as it opens with a tight shot on West only to pull back and reveal it’s a neo-classical painting with all the imagery you could imagine. It cuts off at 1:43, but it’s enough to get you at least a little excited. Check out the video teaser after the jump.

Second, yesterday West debuted a new track titled “See Me Now” featuring Beyoncé and Charlie Wilson. The tune is vintage West with an uptempo beat, for which Beyoncé provides the sweet hook, and over it he spits some smirk-inducing lines such as “I’m socrates but my skin more chocolate-y” and, what he tweeted as his favorite lyric on the new album, “I might walk in Nobu with no shoes”. You can download and stream “See Me Now” at Usershare.net.

Finally today, Kanye confirmed on his twitter that he’ll be back performing at MTV’s VMAs this year. Last time he was on the VMAs, well, things didn’t exactly go over too well. The 2010 MTV VMA’s will air on Thursday, September 12, live on MTV.

Now check out that “Power” teaser:
