Going through Wilco withdrawl, Chicago? While it may be a while until the full band plays another windy city gig, enigmatic frontman Jeff Tweedy will perform two solo shows at the Vic Theatre this weekend.
These two solo gigs will benefit a children’s scholarship fund. Tweedy played two similar shows last year at the Vic around Valentines day, and let me tell you, they were awesome. He plays a boatload of Wilco tracks and obscure cover tunes. If you’re lucky, he might even play a few new tunes as well.
The shows are this Friday, March 12, and Saturday, March 13, at the Vic Theatre. Tickets are still available for both shows at $100 (floor) or $50 (balcony) – hey, calm down, it’s a benefit – and can be bought at Ticketmaster.com.
