The Hideout’s Benefit For Haiti event on January, 18, was an enormous success.
According to Hideoutchicago.com, the event, which featured performances from Chicago acts the Waco Brothers and Eleventh Dream Day, a poster sale by Judgeworks and a bake sale from My Vegetable Blog, raised almost $8,000.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to Partners In Health, an organization that provides health care to underprivileged countries and has been extremely active on the ground in Haiti since the earthquake disaster.
Additionally, if you missed the show and still want to help out, benefit posters from Judgeworks (seen above) are still for sale for $20. All proceeds from the poster sale will go to Partners In Health and Doctors without Borders.
