Three reasons to hit up Hungry Brain tonight to catch a live recording of Chicago music podcast You, Me, Them, Everybody…
1. Because you can be a part of history! Well maybe not history exactly, but the podcast will be recorded for later use. Oh, and the guests include kick ass Chicago garage rockers White Mystery. So, if you’ve ever wanted to pick the brain of Miss Alex White to know what goes on under her curly red locks when she’s ripping a killer riff, it may be wise to be in attendance.
2. Because another of tonight’s guest is Playboy editor Scott Smith who is all kinds of awesome. If you aren’t following him on Twitter (@ourmaninchicago), then you’re missing out as he’s Chicagoland’s social media version of Bill Murray (humor-wise). Though we are a bit saddened he couldn’t come up with a decent Canadian Mountie joke after the USA put team Canada on ice last night. (*cue USA chant*)
3. Because it won’t only be talkie-talkie. There will also be live music provided by Jeremy Tromburg of the Ragtones, and Brendan McGowan, named one of the Top 10 Chicago comedians by Comedy.com, will be there for comedy relief in case things get too serious (doubt it). I mean, it’s Monday and miserable outside. Why not stop by the Hungry Brain, located at 2319 W. Belmont., tonight for a brew and some good ol’ fashion podcastin’?
8:00 p.m. Monday, 2/22. Hungry Brain (2319 W. Belmont). 21+. FREE!
