1. Tonight is the last night of the Ike Reilly Assassination Hard Luck Stories residency. Bigger and ballsier than your modern indie rock take on Americana and folk like music, Ike weaves some pretty sweet, dark storytelling into his tunes. You know, the way bands did it in the late 80′s and early 90′s.

2. Got a case of the Mondays? Well, first of all, don’t say that out loud. It’s trite. Still, if it is secretly true, let Ike lighten the mood by showing you worse. Trust me, his Hard Luck Stories will make your sad little work week existence seem like paradise. If you can’t pull yourself up by your bootstraps (if you own bootstraps) at least let the misfortune of others do it for you. Schadenfreude, people. Schadenfreude.
