Three “maybe this will warm your heart if not your toes on this colder than you like Monday” reasons to find those gloves and head on up to the Whistler tonight…

1. There is no doubt, NO DOUBT, that you read my Shapers review and thought, “Gee, that band sounds swell and, heck, that fellow has been right every single time before. I should give those fine young lads a listen.” Or something like that. Well, by now you’ve spun their record hundreds of time and want to see what they can do live. BAM! Tonight’s the night.

2. CHIRP radio has been streaming live for a few months now. They do this not to stroke their own egos, but for you, the listening public, yearning for independent radio to shed light on independent music and to keep you up to date on Chicago-centric comings and goings. It doesn’t come cheap. They give and give and now you can repay the favor. The show tonight is another benefit for the fine folks at CHIRP. For the price of a cup of coffee you can personally keep the metaphorical flies off of the metaphorically starving radio airwaves. Won’t you?
