l_a5933fe06030427993a6d5738c804498 Three crossed legs, coffee sipping reasons to head on over to Puck’s Cafe at the Museum Of Contemporary Art for tonight’s Magical Musical Showcase…

1. Matthew Kerstein, Chicago’s very own (via Boston), will be playing a solo acoustic set. Not familiar with the name? Well, he was once a member of our beloved Scotland Yard Gospel Choir and is currently fronting his new band, Brighton, MA. Not a bad pedigree so far.

2. You’re sad because you’re only 17, and you can never see anyone cool. Besides, you have no money so what’s the point? And even if you did have a few dollars, you have that midterm in the morning. So, you really should just go to bed early. Man, your life sucks, fictitious person. But I come bearing good news….the show is all ages! It’s free! And it is at 6pm! Give yourself a break for once and be cool like the rest of us.

3. Not convinced? Take less than two minutes to check out Matthew performing at Goat Show. I’d find a longer clip, but I know you’re busy:

6:00 p.m. Tuesday, 2/23. Puck’s Cafe at the Museum Of Contemporary Art. All Ages. FREE!!!
