Lil Tits

Three some times you just want to riot reasons to head down to Panchos tonight…

1. Chicago trio Lil Tits call their sound “feminimalism” and there couldn’t be a more accurate way to describe the group’s riot grrrl-influenced punk rock. Lil Tits simplify the raw, aggressive style in which bands like L7 and Seven Year Bitch specialized to serve up some real, balls-to-the-wall rock action. LISTEN: “Alright Loser.”

2. So we meet again, Bad Bad Meow. Wherever we go, this band seems to turn up. And, for once, that’s not a bad thing. The Chicago outfit plays some infectious, rambunctious acoustic punk ditties that should have you playing the maracas along with Pancho himself. LISTEN: “Drink and Regret.”

3. As if you need another reason to go…
Here’s Bad Bad Meow performing “Mother Father,” the opening track off its Big Phat Pussycat LP at the Empty Bottle last month.

9:00 p.m. Wednesday, 12/28. Panchos. 21+ FREE!!!
