Three reasons to see The Prairie Cartel at Lincoln Hall tonight…
1. The Prairie Cartel is the band you’ve been waiting for. They’ll sweep you off your feet and get you dancing ’til sunrise. Their album Where Did All My People Go came out today and features standout tracks “Cracktown,” “Jump Like Chemicals” and “Suitcase Pimp.”
2. The Prairie Cartel is yet another side project by Chicago’s resident dynamo Scott Lucas; this time he has joined forces with Blake Smith (of Fig Dish and Caviar fame) to create the ultimate electro-rock dance group. Check out the band performing “Homicide” at the Metro back in February.
3. If you haven’t already, use this as an excuse to check out the new Lincoln Hall venue. Prairie Cartel will open for Tex-Mex Brooklynite, Neon Indian. Tickets are $12.
