Chomp, too
Columbia College Chicago’s student-run record label AEMMP is releasing a new local music compilation called Chomp, too, today, Feb. 17.
The collection contains 14 tracks by Chicago artists including the likes of A Lull, Chaperone, Scotland Yard Gospel Choir and Secret Colours. It can be purchased via the AEMMP’s bandcamp page and Shop Columbia.
Chomp, too is AEMMP’s second compilation album. It follows AEMMP’s 2009 release, the cleverly named, Chompilation. The label also plans to release a series of mini-documentaries to accompany the compilation’s release. Check those out at AEMMP’s tumblr page.
Columbia College Chicago is also hosting a launch party at Stage Two, 618 S. Michigan Ave., for AEMMP’s Chomp, too featuring Chaperone, Carbon Tigers, Aetiology and Katz Company. The show is free and kicks off at 7 p.m. Those who are interested in attending can RSVP on the Facebook event page.
