Chicago electro-indie duo Coltrane Motion will release their new album, Hello Ambition!, on Tuesday, June 1, and will hit the road for a three week tour in support of the record beginning tonight at the Darkroom.

Hello Ambition! is the band’s second full-length release and is described by member Michael Bond in an e-mail as, “…somewhere between Yo La Tengo and LCD Soundsystem – lots of hazy shoegazer guitar over noisy dance rhythms.” Sounds like a winner to me! Additionally, the new album features GD Mills of the Fuck Knights on drum duty.
