Disturbing? Surreal? I’m still not quite sure. But on last night’s episode of MTV’s Jersey Shore, the White Mystery song “Party” soundtracked a crucial, tension-filled moment. Well…as tension filled as a show about a group of partying North Jersey Italians can get. Here’s a bit of context (that I, uh, heard from my friend. Yeah.): Snooki and Deena made a cake for their boss since a week earlier that left work early to get drunk. In the morning, the cake was missing a small piece. Everyone assumes it was The Situation and accusations fly. It was this moment that the very beginning of “Party” is audible.
