Self-described "ambient soul" outfit Speck Mountain will be dropping their new LP, Badwater, on January 22. Late last year, they released a video for Badwater's first single, the slow-burning take, "Slow So Long." The video does a great job of capturing the song's textured feel and airy, soulful melodies with its VHS-looking footage. The combination of loose imagery and hazy tone make it an intriguing watch. And you can watch Speck Mountain tomorrow night at Lincoln Hall when they perform alongside Radar Eyes and Circuit Des Yeux.
