The Empty Bottle joined forces with WBEZ for its latest installment of its monthly “Music.Friendly.Dancing” free concert series. On Tuesday, August 9, WBEZ’s Navy Pier studios hosted folk pop singer-songwriter Shara Worden (AKA My Brightest Diamond). Worden, a frequently collaborator of indie pop singer Sufjan Stevens, appeared in a good mood during the session. In the video below of her performance for “We Added It Up,” Worden joked around with the audience saying, “This is my Sonic Youth chord,” as she continually plucked a simple chord. Prepare yourself for some seriously gentle folk coupled with sweet falsettos.
