Last night at the Hideout was the book release party for The F***ing Epic Twitter Quest of Mayor Emanuel from Dan Sinker who spent the better part of last winter capturing the hearts and minds of Chicagoans and all tweeting Americans with his profanity laced, completely engaging fake Rahm Emanuel twitter handle @MayorEmanuel. His tweets were so awesome that they’ve been book-ified, and that means mega blowout party time! And last night was no exception as not only did the actual Rahm Emanuel show up, but so did Wilco main man Jeff Tweedy. And Jeff Tweedy did something so completely Jeff Tweedy -- he played an acoustic cover of the Black Eyed Peas’ “I Gotta Feeling,” and rocked the song including the rapped parts (transformed into spoken word) and even attempted the uber-ridiculous ending. All in all, it was pretty epic, and you can watch the whole thing (captured by Time Out Chicago) here.

[Ed. Note:] You can also watch Tweedy’s spoken word (truly giving William Shatner a run for his money) take on the Peas’ hit “My Humps.”
