Back in April, our own Ross Meyerson championed Chicago’s In Tall Buildings and called their Whistler Records debut, “It’s the Tom Hanks of records. It is accessible to everyone: young, old, edgy, button downed, you name it.” Well, since then, the band, lead by singer-songwriter Erik Hall, has been gaining quite a fan base in our fair city, and they were even featured in the latest, and 25th, installment from Giant System Chicago. This beautiful-looking performance features some sweet guitar work from Hall. You can catch In Tall Buildings kick off Tomorrow Never Knows 2011 at Schubas next Wednesday, January 12.
