Debut albums are exciting, right?
Chicago's The Bright White are about to excite you with theirs, Until Then, quite soon.
In the meantime, check out the first, we'll call it single, "Red Summer Rose," which is a song that kind of perfectly mashes up their influences. Add a dash of power pop a-la solo McCartney, some Brit pop, and more than a heaping helping of Buffalo Tom style Americana indie rock and you get "Red Summer Rose." Someone had to finally merge these influences. Listen at the left.
You can thank the Bright White personally on Thursday, February 24, when they play their record release show at the Double Door. If you can't wait till then to hear the whole thing swing on by Reckless Records for a physical copy or CDBaby.com for the record in digital format.
