For those that like your garage rock rough and dirty, look no farther than the new three-song EP from locals Magic Milk.

The EP, titled Deep Stuff vol. 1, features three song so lo-fi, it’s a wonder you don’t hear the click of the recorder when they’re done. Beneath the one-mic sounding production, or lack there of, the band rips through three chugging rockers (including one extremely noisy seven-minute take) powered by maniacal shouts and ghostly howls.

Opening the EP is “Demolition Blue.” A sleazy shimmy and shaker, the song loosely rattles along via popgun drums and muffled surf guitars. Listen to “Demolition Blue” at the top left.

You can grab Deep Stuff vol. 1 as a name your own price download right now at Magic Milk’s Bandcamp. And catch’em this Friday, January 13, at Crown Tap Room.
